Coconut Sugar Face and Body Scrub

Coconut Sugar Face and Body Scrub

USE WHITE SUGAR! Got your attention? I focus on what I put inside my body as well as out. I’m a resourceful person and hardly ever spend $$ on a product unless it is the last resort. My go to that makes my face soft and glowing? Sugar and coconut oil. That’s it. I use it as a body scrub as well for rough areas of skin. Your skin will feel baby soft. Add a few drops of vanilla or mint extract to make it yours. Save your coins on “fancy” scrubs that promise a lot, but don’t deliver.

Ingredients
1/4 cup granulated sugar (Use 1/2 cup if you want your scrub to have a more coarse-like texture. I like mine a little paste-like, so I add less sugar)
1/2 cup Coconut Oil (Use what you want, but Aldi’s sells inexpensive, but great quality Organic Virgin Coconut Oil for $4.99)
Optional: Vanilla or Mint Extract or Citrus Zest (Use only on your body, not your face)

Directions
Combine all ingredients and mix. Do not heat the coconut oil prior to mixing. Hot oil will dissolve the sugar.

How to Use
Massage in circular motions for 30 seconds. Rinse and pat dry. The oil will absorb immediately.
