This ice cream is bananas! Pun intended. When I first began clean cheating, I went through sugar withdrawals. You know how a smoker needs a cigarette after a meal? Well, something sweet was my cigarette. My go-to when I first began eating healthy was any “sugar-free” dessert, not knowing that it doesn’t mean guilt-free. Sugar-free simply means a chemical that is a processed disaster keeping your fat cells…well…fat. We will get to that at a later date. I was the 100. Calorie. Pack QUEEN. Trial and error. Put those 100 calorie packs down. NOW. NO NOW. REALLY.
This recipe can satisfy that sweet tooth. I usually make it even more decadent by adding some mix-ins, getting my inner Cold Stone Creamery on:
Natural Peanut or any Nut Butter
Slivered Almonds or Walnuts
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
½ Tsp. Vanilla Extract

One Ingredient Ice Cream
1. Peel the bananas and slice them thickly.
2. Lay them on a plate or in a Ziploc bag and freeze until solid, around 2 hours.
3. Put them in the blender or food processor and turn the machine on to blend them.
4. Serve right away or store in the freezer in a container.
