Ready for Day 1? What I LOVE about this challenge is it’s SO DOABLE. Tomorrow you will add 5 servings of fruits and vegetables to what you normally eat. Why eat 5? Well let’s see:
-Your poop will become regular…just keeping it real.
-More energy. Apples are known to be a natural energy booster.
-Your body will thank you. You will feel better by giving your body natural nutrients.
-You will stay full longer due to high water and fiber content in fruits and veggies.
TIPS TO GET THAT 5 IN:
-Add fruit to your cereal or oatmeal.
-Snack on raw vegetables or fruits instead of chips.
-Use fresh salsa instead of cream based snack dips. Fresh salsa is also ridiculous on a baked potato instead of butter and sour cream.
-Drink 100% juice but watch for added sugar.
-Use lots of dark green leaves and other vegetables in salad instead of piling on the bacon, cheese, and dressing.
-Add frozen veggies to any pasta.
-If you must have pizza, load on extra veggies and pineapple instead of fatty meats and extra cheese.
-Add berries to yogurt for a naturally sweet dessert rather than the usual cookie.
